Bitcoin Stamps at PepeVault: Lisbon & Prague
In June 2026, Bitcoin Stamps traveled with PepeVault to two European stops. According to the organizer, PepeVault is a traveling on-chain-Pepe exhibition that gathers Rare Pepes, FAKERARES, Notable Pepes, and Bitcoin Stamps in one room and tells the story of how they connect.
The lineage on display
PepeVault frames a cultural line the Bitcoin Stamps community knows well: Rare Pepes, then Bitcoin Stamps, then KEVIN. Rare Pepes proved that internet art could live on a blockchain through Counterparty. Bitcoin Stamps took that spirit and made the storage permanent in Bitcoin's UTXO set. KEVIN carried the meme energy into the first SRC-20 token.
Seeing those pieces side by side puts the heritage in context. The art didn't appear from nowhere. It grew out of a decade of on-chain culture.
Lisbon
The organizer lists a Lisbon stop during the NFC Summit at Unicorn Factory Lisboa, running June 4 to 6, with a "Stampfest 3" afterparty. It's the kind of gathering where collectors, artists, and builders meet in person rather than through a screen.
Prague
The second stop, per PepeVault, was "PEPEX Prague" at Fuchs2 on Štvanice Island on June 11, held during BTC Prague week. Bringing on-chain Pepes and Bitcoin Stamps into the middle of a major Bitcoin gathering fits the theme: this is Bitcoin culture, not a side quest.
Why community events matter
A permanence-first protocol is easy to describe and harder to feel. Events like PepeVault make it tangible. People stand in front of the art, trace the lineage, and understand why storing it on Bitcoin forever was the point all along.
We're grateful to everyone who organized and attended, and we're glad Bitcoin Stamps was part of it.
